A
Message from the Publishers Dear
Friends,
Due
to an ever-increasing workload for our main business
(Starstruck Design) and our online store for Western
Mass products (ShopWesternMass.com),
Don and I have decided with some regret to discontinue
the Valley Viewpoint newsletter. But don't panic!
There's still a lot of great info on this site. Check

Making a Difference:
ShopWesternMass.com
The editors of Valley Viewpoint have launched a new
online store devoted solely to products from Western
Massachusetts. It's called Shop Western Mass and you can
find it at www.ShopWesternMass.com.
The idea was born out of our desire to help the local
economy of Western Mass and to showcase the incredible
range of talent and creativity of its residents. But we
also wanted to give back to the community we love so
much. So as part of our business model, we'll be
donating a percentage of our sales on the site to local
causes and cultural organizations, including the Food
Bank of Western Massachusetts, CISA, the Franklin County
CDC, the Northeast Foundation for Children, the North
Quabbin Woods Project, NESEA and the Pioneer Valley
Symphony Orchestra & Chorus.
Currently, the site features more than 25 individual
vendors who produce all types of products, including
fine art and handmade crafts, specialty food, bath and
body, clothing, candles, calendars, music and books.
It's a great place to go for gifts -- and you're sure to
find something to please even the most discriminating
tastes.
